scaricare file da ftp

Chi mi spiega come fare a scaricare un file da un sito ftp? Mi spiego meglio: non mi riesce di scaricare il file dell'Unico 2005 dal sito della agenzia delle entrate. Il link che dovrebbe consentire il download fa riferimento a un indirizzo ftp. Credo che il problema sia proprio quello: ci deve essere un limite nel browser (IE 6.0) a utilizzare tale metodologia di download. Come posso porvi rimedio? Grazie per eventuali risposte e scusate se l'argomento fosse già stato trattato.

Se ci dai il link preciso magari scopriamo se il problema è tuo o del server. Di massima le cartelle FTP da Explorer si presentano con i file mostrati come in una comune cartella di Windows. Per farti capire vedi qui:

ftp://gd.tuwien.ac.at/pub/graphics/ImageMagick/

Se invece c'è un link diretto a un file FTP si scarica normalmente e nemmeno ti accorgi della differenza da un link http.

Cliccando sul link per scaricare il file da 8MB appare nella barra indirizzo questo:
ftp://217.175.52.111/mod2005/UNI2005_100.exe .
Dopo aver macinato un po' viene fuori una pagina con questa scritta:

Network Access Message: The page cannot be displayed
Explanation: There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

Try the following:
Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. The timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion.

Proposta indecente: tra i dotati di adsl chi se la sente di scaricarmi i due file e poi uno per volta spedirmeli in casella e.mail?
Io non capisco perchè ma non riesco a scaricarli!!!!

quell'indirizzo 172.20.36.158 è per caso il tuo? (mi sembra difficile ma non si sa mai...)
stai provando da casa o da una lan?

se mi mandi l'indirizzo via MP posso mandartelo, mi pare di riuscire a scaricarlo...
