Hello everyone,
I'm having a strange issue with my desktop PC and I'm hoping someone can help me figure it out.
Over the last couple of weeks, my computer has started freezing randomly for about 3–10 seconds. During the freeze, the mouse won't move, audio stutters, and everything becomes unresponsive. After that, it goes back to normal as if nothing happened.
The problem occurs both when I'm browsing the internet and when I'm playing games. Sometimes it happens several times a day, and other days it doesn't happen at all.
My system:
Windows 11 Pro
Intel Core i5-12400F
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA RTX 3060
1 TB NVMe SSD
Things I've already tried:
Updated Windows completely
Updated graphics drivers
Ran a malware scan (nothing found)
Checked SSD health with CrystalDiskInfo (shows good health)
Cleaned dust from inside the case
I checked Task Manager during normal use and CPU/RAM usage seem fine. Temperatures also look normal (CPU around 55–65°C while gaming).
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to determine whether this is a hardware issue or some driver/software problem?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
