Recently, I had an issue with Microsoft Excel on Windows 11. Whenever I try to open large files (around 50MB or more, with lots of formulas and formatting), Excel either freezes for a long time or becomes completely unresponsive.
I’ve already tried a few basic steps like:
Disabling add-ins
Repairing Office from Control Panel
Updating Windows and Office
But the problem still happens quite often.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there specific settings or optimizations that can help improve Excel performance with large files? For example, would switching calculation mode or adjusting memory usage make a difference?
