Abuse versioni 1.0.6.x su Windows ME non analizza gli header

Sul mio Millennium con Outlook Express 6 tutte le versioni 1.0.6 di Abuse non mi analizzano gli header. Una volta trascinata la mail nella finestra del programma premo "Inizia l'analisi" e l'anilasi si avvia ma poi resta bloccata così:



Sono dietro a un router ma l'ip 192.168.70.94 non so proprio cosa possa essere dato che sono colllegati 2 pc con tutt'altro indirizzo e quello lì pingato non risponde. Ma la stessa cosa la scrive pure Abuse 1.5.9 che però l'analisi la completa.

Oggi ho provato la nuova versione 1.0.6.8 sul mio millennium ma è peggio di prima: cercandolo di aprire (doppio click, destro e Apri, dal COMMAND ecc) mi scrive

Invalid command line arguments

Naturalmente io non ho provato a usare alcuna opzione da linea di comando...

I don't have a Windows 98/ME system to test with. As a result the ver 1.6.0.8 release doesn't work with Windows 98. I mistakenly used a function that is not supported on Windows 98. I will fix this in the next release.
I would appreciate if someone with a Windows 98 system would test the changes on a Win98 system before the next release. If you are interested, email me at developerdx@users.sourceforge.net.

Non ho un sistema Windows 98/ME per testare. Per questo, la versione 1.6.0.8 non funziona con Windows 98. Ho per errore usato una funzione che non è supportata in Windows 98. Sistemerò la cosa nella prossima versione.
Mi piacerebbe se qualcuno con un sistema Windows 98 potesse testare le nuove versioni prima del rilascio. Se qualcuno fosse interessato, può scrivere a deverloperdx@users.sourceforge.net

Naturalmente, Dave non parla l'italiano (a parte ciao, pizza e altre cosine che sono riuscito ad insegnargli).

Abbiamo già tutto risolto
Ci stiamo sentendo via mail e sembrerrebbe risolto il problema che affiggeva TUTTE le versioni di Abuse 1.6.x (anche le inferiori alla 1.6.8 che però partivano) e pare fosse un problema nelle API per ricavare le MX record information.

Suppongo che la relase 1.6.9 sia vicina, ma credo gli chiederò anche se sono implementabili alcune feature che riterrei comode

Per i curiosi trascrivo quanto dettomi da Dave circa la soluzione del problema:

The change I made to the version that you got that worked involved a problem I had noticed in the Ver 1.0.6.0 of Abuse with Windows 2000. At that time I had access to a Windows 98 system and got Abuse to work with Win 98 also. I guessed that Win 98 ME would use the same API for checking the MX dns information as windows 98. I guessed that was where the problem appeared to be so I changed the code for a Win 98 ME system to use the same API as Windows 2000. That is what fixed the problem. I will release a ver 1.0.6.9 in a week or 2 with this change.
