Diversi siti web riportano che impiegati di Ubisoft hanno affermato che l'azienda non sfrutterà la protezione StarForce DRM nei suoi prossimi titoli.

L'utente Galaad su CelestialHeavens.com - un sito di fan del gioco Heroes of Might and Magic Fansite - afferma infatti che Ubisoft e Nival non integreranno la protezione StarForce DRM.

Il thread originale sul forum vede l'impiegato di Ubisoft affermare "We have decided that the anti-copy protection used on the future Ubisoft games won't be the StarForce software"
