(C) Salvatore Aranzulla Bhè... quando uno se la cerca... se la cerca! Molte sono le e-mail che circolano in rete e che, per truffarci, richiedono la nostra collaborazione. Mi sono spacciato per un credulone ed ho risposto ad un truffatore che mi annunciava una strepitosa vincita. Ecco la nostra corrispondenza: per il momento il "caso" è ancora aperto. Dunque, il 15 Febbraio 2005 ricevo una e-mail inviata da "LuckyDay Lotterij", una fantomatica lotteria norvegese, che mi annuncia (ma va!) che il mio indirizzo e-mail è stato sorteggiato fra degli altri ed è uscito, vincendo 275.000 dollari americani. Iniziamo l'analisi. Allora io non ho mai richiesto una iscrizione a questo fantomatico servizio di estrazione delle e-mail. Si tratta quindi di una e-mail di spamming e questo già ci dovrebbe far capire che si tratta di una truffa. Parlo di truffa e non di uno scherzo per un semplice motivo: ad un certo punto, come potete leggere ora, il truffatore richiede una fotocopia della carta di identità o della patente, e, ma non sono andato oltre, ben presto mi avrebbe chiesto dei soldi in anticipo per questo fantomatico trasferimento di denaro che, ovviamente, non avverrà mai: in altre parole, il truffatore si prende il nostro anticipo e ci manda a quel paese (detto in parole povere e senza fronzoli vari). Con la copia della carta di identità, il truffatore, inoltre, avrebbe potuto falsificare la nostra identità: non sono poche le vittime di frodi di identità. Ecco la fantomatica e-mail (in inglese, ovviamente). Non la traduco per motivi di tempo, ma mi limito a commentarla. Si cerca di dare "autorevolezza" alla e-mail dicendo che è stata inviata dall'ufficio del coordinatore di questa fantomatica lotteria. Viene riportato il sito "http://www.luckyday.nl", anch'esso appartenente al truffatore, dove si mostrano foto di vincitori e "testimonianze" per convincere il povero internauta che ha ricevuto l'e-mail. Nella pagina "http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/unwelcome-l.html" sono raccolti i siti di frodi on-line. Guarda caso si riporta pure quello di lukyday.nl. Si riportano anche una serie di numeri, tanto per fare sembrare la cosa più "burocratica" e seria. --------------------------------------------------- FROM THE DESK OF THE COORDINATOR. Congratulations on behalf of members of staff, and thank you for being part of our promotional program. --------------------------------------------------- Per il motivo spiegato all'inizio della e-mail, al truffatore interessa truffare l'utente facendogli uscire dei soldi e si richiede, appunto, per questo, una età maggiore ai 18 anni (non penso che abbia dei soldi un quindicenne, come me). Questa riga è fra l'altro contraddittoria poiché ci dice che l'e-mail (di truffa) è stato inviata a migliaia di e-mail, raccolte, con qualche programma, in rete. --------------------------------------------------- Note: Anybody under the age of 18 is automatically disqualified. L'e-mail non ha testo: è vuota, se non fosse per le righe "Walla! Mail - get your free 1G mail today", inserite comunque dal servizio Walla.com http://www.salvatore-aran ... atore_lotteria_modulo.jpg Compilo il tutto, ovviamente con dati falsi, e mando. Stavolta ricevo subito risposta. Mi si conferma che i dati sono apposto per ricevere la vincita e mi si da appuntamento per il 24 Febbraio 2005 (tombola! il giorno del mio compleanno) ad Amsterdam. In caso di truffa provvedete subito a denunciare il tutto a chi di competenza e sopratutto al "Fraud Watch International" (http://www.fraudwatchinternational.com/). Ma se vi sono i truffati, vi è pure chi prende in giro i truffatori.
