ciao, allora credo possa servire anke ad altri, la soluzione al problema si trova nel thread segnalato da dylan, ed è la seguente:
Hi,
i have build a new OpenVPN GUI installer package based on the latest openvpn_install_source-2.1beta7-gui-1.0.3 and the latest OpenVPN version
(openvpn-2.1_rc1).
This package fix the Tap-Device installation problems in Windows Vista 32bit systems.
After the installation you should add this:
route-method exe
route-delay 2
to your Openvpn config file to fix the routes adding problem
and start the gui with runas administrator.
Note: User Account Control must be activated to run the gui as administrator on a normal user account.
{
I recommend to remove the registry entry openvpn-gui to anticipate
that the openvpn gui will be started automatically with normal
user rights at login.
At the commandline as Administrator:
"reg delete KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v openvpn-gui /f"
or over "regedit".
}

hope this helps someone
ora però ho una domanda per voi, come posso far sì che all'avvio di windows vista parta in automatico openvpn con i diritti di amministratore?
