sul mio portatile a ogni riavvio esce la scritta con il pallino rosso e la X bianca all'interno:
NORTON PROTECTION: ACCESS DENIED ON DRIVE C

Ho già provato a riinstallare tutto
Come devo fare?

La comparsa dell'errore è avvenuta in concomitanza con l'installazione di quelche programma? Magari un programma che parte all'avvio? Scommetto di sì...

Non c'è nel mio pc il security tab...

Windows XP Home Edition
Restart the computer in Safe mode. For instructions, read the document How to start Windows XP in Safe Mode.
Click Start, and then click My Computer.
Right-click the C drive icon, and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab.
In the "Name" box, click Administrator.
In the "Permissions" list, make sure that "Allow" is checked for all items in the list.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 for "System."
Click OK, and then restart the computer.

Ma hai riavviato in modalità provvisoria... ?

ora il portatile non si spegne e non si riavvia più

si..avevo fatto in modalità prvvisoria
