Mi è arrivato un messaggio, con oggetto "winning notification", che dice:

La cifra è imbarazzante e visto che non ci credo assolutamente vi chiedo se siete al corrente di mail simili e di cosa si tratta.

P.S. notare l'agente "Paul Smith", sembra davvero un nome preso a caso, tipo il Mario Rossi della situazione...

Cifra imbarazzante deduco che sia circa i 1,038,240£/5. quindi 207,048£ a testa?
Permettimi di fare delle considerazioni
  • Mi sembra strano che una lotteria web assegni premi così e nessuno ne abbia mai sentito parlare
  • Se la cifra fosse davvero di quelle dimensioni presumo che l'avviso che ti viene recapitato sia ben diverso da una semplice mail in inglese (che uno malauguratamente può anche non leggere)
  • Se hai dato un'occhiata al sito del link, vedi che sembra la homepage del programma "Il lotto alle otto", ossia ci sono i risultati delle estrazioni Inglesi. Non v'è traccia di un eventuale form di conferma, mentre questo è l'estratto delle città fortunate (tutte inglesi, guarda caso)
  • Mi sembra strano che al giorno d'oggi si possa giocare dei numeri al lotto INGLESE gratuitamente e semplicemente navigando in internet.

Inoltre come dici tu Paul Smith è il Mario Rossi inglese. Io sinceramente ci credo poco, anzi, niente. ;)

Un qualcosa di analogo è stato trattato dalla trasmissione "Mi manda Raitre" un paio di settimane fa, e da come riesco a capire da ciò che leggo, dovrebbe essere una bufala....quando ti metti in contatto con loro, ti fanno andare all'estero (Olanda credo dicessero in trasmissione), pagare cifre considerevoli, e non si recupera più nulla.
Questo era quanto dicevano a Raitre, e ciò che hai postatoo mi sembra, una cosa analoga, ma ripeto, mi sembra.

La storia è sempre la stessa: se qcuno ti promette grosse somme di denaro o grandi vincite di premi assortiti, è una truffa. ;)

E' sempre la solita roba che gira da anni.
Io mi stupisco sempre che qualcuno li riceva per la prima volta :D
A me ne arrivano in quantità industriali.
Ho vinto dozzine di lotterie. Centinaia di ex re africani cercano di regalarmi milioni di dollari. Etc.
